1986年7月9日奠基，1988年建成投入使用，它是国家“七五”（1985-1990）重点工程，承接单位是中国科学院沈阳分院。

China’s First Robot Demonstration Project
China’s first robot demonstration project was set up in Shenyang.
It was founded on 9th July, 1986 and undertaken by Chinese Academy Sciences Shenyang Branch.
The project was belong to one of key project of China’s national seventh-five plan.
