China’s Largest Inland Irrigation Area
China’s largest inland irrigation area was in Gansu Hexi Corridor. There are three major river systems from west to east including Shule, Heihe and Shiyang to irrigate the area of more than 1,000 acres of farmland, grasslands and woodlands.
